Mechanical Engineering

Vision

To dispense pre eminence education and to enhance technical skills of the students pertaining knowledge in Mechanical Engineering with basis to mould the students for Industrial needs and to motivate to be innovative and ethical as well.

Mission

M-1: To Prepare the students with strong foundational concepts by using technology enhanced tools and techniques for enhancement of knowledge, understanding of principles, concepts and latest trends in Mechanical Engineering.
M-2: To Provide opportunities to encourage organizational leadership qualities of students through workshops and laboratories as per the curriculum specified by the State Board of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh.
M-3: To conduct Guest lectures, Industrial visits and Industrial training for better understanding of critical concepts of Mechanical Engineering to prove their ability.
M-4: To facilitate opportunities for developing multidisciplinary skills, communication skills, professional attitude and ethics, to serve the society and to protect environment as well.

Mechanical - POS, PSOS & PEOS

PSO1: Ability to employ in fields of engineering such as design, testing, manufacturing, processing, safety, quality control, and other business sectors.
PSO2: Ability to progress through advanced degree or certificate programs or participates in continuing education in engineering, business, and/or other professionally related fields.
PSO3: Achieve positions of increased responsibility within the organizations.

Admission Criteria

Loyola Polytechnic (YSRR), Pulivendla is a Christian Minority Institution which is primarily (30% of seats) meant for Christian students. It is also open to others for the rest of seats without distinction of caste, creed or religion according to Government rules in force. The courses available are as Follows:

As per the present admission policy, 30% of the seats are under minority quota and rest of the seats will be filled by the Government as per the norms of reservations in force. The seats under minority quota will be filled by merit in the qualifying examination.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Intake 60 Seats

Duration of Course - 3 Years

Eligibility Criteria

Selection of candidates is governed by the Rules and regulations laid down in this regard from time to time. Candidates who wish to seek admission in any of the diploma courses will have to appear for common entrance examination (POLYCET) conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. Only the candidates satisfying the following requirements will be eligible to appear for the common entrance examination (POLYCET).

Documents Required at the time of Admission

For the candidate selected for admission the following documents are required to be furnished in original with two xerox copies of each.

  • Marks card of S.S.C
  • Transfer Certificate (at the time of admission only)
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Study Certificate IV to X
  • Residence Certificate
  • Physical Fitness Certificate
  • Caste Certificate if belongs to SC/ST and BC
  • Income Certificate
